Allah and His Messenger (Sa:) is the greatest asset.
Abu Bakr (Ra.) got the title for his incomparable faith As Siddiq. There was no comparison between charity and not just faith and time.
Umar bin Al-Khattab said, "On the eve of the Battle of Tabuk, the Prophet (peace be upon him) called upon us to donate whatever we have and give it to the fight fund. On hearing this call I said to myself, "If I can overcome Abu Bakr, then today that day". By thinking of this, I presented half of my wealth to the Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah's Messenger (Sa.) asked, "What have you left for the family?" I said, "I have left the amount I brought."
Then Abu bakar appeared with his donation. The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him the same way, "Abu Bakr, what is left for the family?" Abu Bakr replied, "There is Allah and Allah's Apostle for them". I said to my ear as before, "No matter how fast Abu Bakr can not surpass".
